At this time of year when our thoughts turn to promise of spring and summer, dreams of walking the Via Francigena might still be months away. So, why not start your preparation and get some walking in by joining us on our first ever team pilgrimage?

Every step you take and log will count towards our team progress as we travel from London to Canterbury, through France and over the Great St Bernard Pass in Switzerland. Down through northern Italy and through the heat of Tuscany we'll walk until we reach Rome and then the Vatican.

Just enough time there for a gelato and then back we go!

Along the way we will see some sights of the Via Francigena and visit some lovely towns and villages off the beaten track. We will chat amongst ourselves on our facebook page and maybe even try out some local food recipes.

We would love your company along the way, hear your stories and memories, hopes, thoughts and plans for future pilgrimages.
Although we need your steps to count along the way, if you're not able to walk for us, you can still support us by buying your virtual credential and following our progress!

Buon cammino a tutti!

Recording your miles

Our team progress is shown on the live map and all your miles count towards our goal.

Logging miles is simple - you can do so manually or automatically if you have any of a free Strava account, Garmin Connect or a Fitbit.

Manual Logging

From the 15th January, when you are logged in to your UltraBritain account you will see a blue 'View Activities' button above the map.  This will show you all we've recorded for you so far and allow you to add more activities.

To add a new activity tap the Add New Activity button, then simply tap the date and enter the distance in either miles or kilometres.

Automatic Logging

You can connect your Strava account, Garmin Connect or Fitbit account to UltraBritain and we will pick up your activities automatically.
To do so, tap the 'Connect Service' button below the map and choose which service you want to connect.
You'll be taken to the chosen service to approve the connection.
Note that we can only view public activities and they must be recorded as a walk, hike, run or similar
