Credit Card Numbers

No credit card numbers are stored on UltraBritain.com or on any other Group site (shutupandrun.co.uk, sweatengine.com).

All pages within the UltraBritain site are secured with SSL.

Refunds, Transfers and Exchanges

UltraBritain does not issue refunds or exchanges for events that we host. Refunds and/or exchanges are at the discretion of the Event Director.

Before registering for an event, carefully review the event information and contact the event director with any questions you may have.

The policy on transfer of race entries or event tickets is at the discretion of the event owner.

Event owners may offer refunds to entrants / ticketholders who can no longer attend a race or other event through UltraBritain at their discretion.

Event owners may provide a marketplace for spare event places and tickets and offer entrant exchange services through UltraBritain in which case policies and service charges where applicable will be clearly displayed.

All refunds are applied back to the original card used to purchase the event place or product. Due to the nature of the banking system, refunds may take up to two weeks to appear against your card balance.

If another person buys a place on your behalf and you subsequently cancel or refund that place, any monies due will be returned to the original purchaser.

Transfer of Event Tickets

Where the Event Owner permits, you may transfer your place at an event to another UltraBritain user.

You may charge the third party a fee for your place which cannot exceed the face value of the ticket/entry or the price you paid for it (excluding fees, charges and charity donations), whichever is the lower.

Event Owners may choose to charge a fee for transfers - this will be clearly indicated.

In the event that the price you demand from a third party does not cover the Event Owner's transfer fee in full, you will be charged for the shortfall before any transfer can proceed. This cannot be refunded should the transfer not go ahead. For this reason we recommend making this charge the responsibility of your buyer.

You may cancel a transfer of a place up until the point at which your third party pays for it.N.B. if you charge a third party for your place, this will be processed as a refund to the card originally used to make the purchase. This means that if someone else bought your place on your behalf, it is their card that will be credited with these funds.

Due to banking system processes, refunds (and in this context resale fees you charge) can take up to two weeks to appear against your card balance.

Whether a waitlist exists for an event and how this list is managed is at the discretion of the Event Owner.

If you are offered a place at an event from the waitlist then you will receive notification by email and within My Account / Entries. Waitlist place offers are valid until midnight 3 days after the offer is made. So for example if an offer is made at 2pm on a Monday, you will have until midnight on Thursday of the same week to complete.

You must checkout the event and fulfil any terms and conditions of entry by this point or the place will be forfeited.

Referral Promotions

UltraBritain may from time to time run referral promotions.
Referral schemes may reward you for introducing people to our events.
Unless indicated otherwise on the event in question these terms and conditions apply to them.

- For each new person you introduce who enters the event, we will credit your account with a GBP 2 voucher
- 'new person' means a customer who has not entered an UltraBritain event within the past 3 months
- We will give you a single voucher, with the face value increasing by GBP 2 for each successful referral
- 'successful referral' means a purchased entry into one of our events
- The voucher can be used against future UltraBritain events (note that the Platform hosts events on behalf of many companies and unless otherwise indicated, their events are not included in the promotion)
- Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash or other goods or services
- When used against a purchase, the voucher will discount that event or other applicable product by the face value of the voucher
- If the voucher value exceeds the price of the event, no residual value will be retained
- The voucher expires 6 months from the date it was created or last topped-up

Event Cancellation

Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the Race Director.

Cancellation procedures and refund policies are established by the Race Director and it is their responsibility to contact entrants in the event of such a cancellation.

In the event that a refund is offered, this will be actioned by the Race Director unless otherwise indicated.

UltraBritain is not liable to make any refunds in such situations and liability rests wholly with the event organiser.
