trail running weekend
Peak District – 30th June to 2nd July
Running and hiking in the Peak District is a challenging but truly exhilarating experience with some of the best off road trails England has to offer, including the Pennine Way, the iconic Kinder Downfall and the spectacular Mam Tor.
The constantly varying terrain offers rocky ascents, moorland, craggy ridges and muddy ditches. The climbs are tough but you will always be rewarded with miles of breath-taking views.
This is a weekend full of trail running action with likeminded enthusiasts. All runs will be guided by experienced trail runners who will offer tips on how to handle technical terrain and varying elevation. Myself and my team aim to provide something for all abilities, therefore the pace on all runs will be kept at a comfortable, sociable level so that we can all enjoy the trails and spectacular views. As a guide, you should be able to comfortably run at 11-11:30 min/mile
Take time to relax and recover with yoga sessions led by Pippa Carr, an experienced yoga teacher trained in Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga styles.
We will be based in Cowdale, a small hamlet just outside the charming spa town of Buxton. Meadow View is a lovely barn conversion which sleeps up to 12 people and has plenty of facilities for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Rooms are shared but a single room supplement is also available, please see prices.
