The Pembrokeshire Coast Path Challenge

From the 19th of August to the 2nd of September, I will be taking up the challenge of completing the 186-mile (300km) Pembroke Coastal Path. And you can do it with me, virtually, from wherever you are in the world, at your own pace, and whatever your ability.

I will be doing this entirely self-funded but will be fundraising for my registered charity Pipal Tree which works in Nepal. I will be aiming to raise £30,000 in sponsorship towards the charity’s work in educating and empowering girls and vulnerable women in south Nepal. That is a massive goal, but I already have £10,000 as a pledge to match the first £10,000 in sponsorship. So, a £10 gift donated online will automatically become £20. And I am sure that if we pull together as a team, we can hit the target!

Take Part in the Challenge

You can get a head start on me by starting now. If you can walk, cycle or run just three miles per day over the coming three months they you will get to the finish line. You will be able to record your distance on a virtual map of the Pembroke Coastal Path with your name appearing on a leader board that compares your progress with other participants – including with me. But remember that from the 19th August I will be on your tail and you can’t allow me to overtake you. Especially given that I will also have to contend with the additional slog of 7,500m of ascent on this arduous route.
