Ups 'n' Downs Sportive - 19th July 2020
We're back after a hugely successful event in 2019 with a new choice of rides for all abilities.
We are delighted to announce that Riding for Ups 'n' Downs VI will take place in July 2020, following 5 successful rides which have raised nearly £40,000 which is just amazing support for such a fantastic local charity!
Ups 'n' Downs is a local charity supporting families and individuals affected by Down's syndrome across Northamptonshire. Every penny raised through this event goes directly to pay for support services such as Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy and Training for Schools; the charity relies on fundraising events such as this to be able to support its members throughout the year.
Enjoy a ride on quiet roads through some of Northamptonshire's finest countryside and help us raise money for Ups 'n' Downs
This is the 60 mile ride, but we are also have a 40 mile and 20 mile route on the day - check the links to the right if you'd prefer these distances.
At the finish we will have a BBQ, cake sale and raffle back at the clubhouse so you can celebrate your achievement, refuel and rehydrate.
We welcome many types of bikes, whether you’re a roadie, mountain bike or E-bike rider. However, for safety reasons and in accordance with British Cycling regulations, the following types of bike are not permitted: triathlon/time trial bars or similar bar extensions; disc wheels or tri-spokes; Penny farthings or uni-cycles.
We will not be able to offer any refunds, transfers or defer any riders to any future rides.

Prices
The ride fees are £45, reduced to £40 (+ card processing fee) for early-bird registration until the 31st May 2020.
Early bird registration will include a guaranteed Ride jersey.
After the early-bird period, we cannot guarantee you will receive a jersey in your size, so get in early!
Your entry fee also includes:
- Planned 'pitstops' including drinks and nutrition
- Race pack including nutrition and other goodies
- A warm welcome back to Earls Barton Cricket Club with a licensed bar, BBQ, Raffle & Prize Ceremony!n

All routes are fully sign-posted and you can download the gpx if you wish from below the map on this page.
The route also feature a pit-stop and food station.
Ups 'n' Downs
Once again we are raising money for Ups 'n' Downs who provide support and advice for children, adults and families affected by Down’s syndrome in Northamptonshire. They work to increase awareness of Down’s syndrome and to promote positive attitudes and approaches within the local and wider community.
