Run for Ukraine

We are putting on this special one-off virtual event to raise money to support the refugee crisis due to the Ukraine conflict.

As you all know millions of people have had to leave their homes and become refugees overnight.

We are going to run this event for 12 days, 20th March to the 31st March, to get us from Wendover in Buckinghamshire, where we live, to the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.

Every penny we raise will go to the UK UNHCR which help refugees throughout their journey. Our target is to raise £10,000.

The virtual event is 2500kms across Europe. We hope to get there in 12 days but if I know our community we will get there and have time to spare so we will then either run back or join up other cities in Ukraine.

All you have to do is walk or run and record your distance on the event page either through connecting your Strava, Garmin or Fitbit, or by entering your distance completed manually.

We will have a leader board running so we can see who has done the furthest.

We will be tracking progress live as every mile is entered online.
